Pilot Solitaire is the perfect game (solitaire) for pastime when there is some time to spare - during waiting time on the watch, on the train home from work, or when you just have five minutes where you need to relax a bit. It is also a game where solitaire coincidences may be offset by clever moves that can significantly improve the chances of winning.
The rules are simple: The cards are laid out one by one from the top left corner. For every new card laid out, it is determined whether the card can be moved on top of already present cards, according to the simple rule that a card can be placed on card number ONE or THREE to the left of its own location, if any of these are either the same rank or suit. If a card is moved, and by that creates new opportunities to move cards, these cards must be moved before a new card can be turned from the deck. The game is over when all 52 cards are turned from the deck and no cards in the playing field can be moved. You have won the game if all the cards end up in the first pile! - It is easy to get close to winning, but its hard to win!
This free version of the Pilot Solitaire is without the function that lists performed games with the highest scores. The same is true for the function on the start page showing the mean of the latest 100 games compared to just random moves of cards. In order to have access to these functions, you need to buy the Pilot Solitaire at Apples App Store.
It is possible to share the experience with and results from the game with your friends on Facebook, both from the start page of the game and from the "Game Over" dialog, when you get your latest result - that could be 100 points, if you are clever and lucky!
